Host families needed!!!

The LHSA is in need of host families for a number of international students who would like to attend Lutheran North in the 2018-19 school year. Please consider opening your home to one of these young people; the experience of having a person from another part of the world join your family can be quite rewarding for your family as well as the international student. If this is something you are willing to do, or would like more information about this opportunity, please contact Julie Hoegeman at the LHSA. There is monthly compensation for being a host family.

LHN is on TV!!

Recently, the Mustang Spirit Club purchased a Pixellot camera for the main gymnasium. This camera is fully automated with advanced technologies and is used at the World Cup. Together with the NFHS and the MHSAA, Lutheran North fans will be able to live stream, and also later watch, any contest footage that takes place in our main gym.
To watch, go to, search for "Lutheran North, Macomb", and register as a new user. There is a small cost for a subscription, for the length of time you determine, to view live and more recent videos. However, LHN will receive a portion of that subscription payment.
This means when you are on the road, even in another country, or just unable to see your favorite Mustang team in action, you can choose to watch it on your computer or mobile device.
The first events to be live streamed will be the December 5 Lady Mustang basketball vs Ladywood game.

School Closings

Also time to prepare for school closings in case of weather conditions. When winter weather makes its appearance, you will need to check with local radio and TV stations to find out if LHN may be closed. Look for our school on the list along with other area schools. Families who live in rural areas should use their judgment in sending children to school when roads are snow or ice covered. In such cases, parents must send a note stating the absence or tardy is due to the weather.
