"As a non-Christian when I started school as a Freshmen, LHN laid the foundation for my entire relationship with Jesus. I remember always feeling a void in my life, and when our education started in the Old Testament, I was in awe of the heroic stories found in the OT. Sophomore year New Testament, was really the first time I understood and got to know Jesus (Thank you Mr. Hardy!), and my final 2 years at LHN taught me how to understand and live out faith! I believe the structure of the religion classes and progression through the faith were awesome."

"The foundations to math, science, and language arts allowed me to move beyond the basics in my undergraduate experience and thrive while learning new material. Now that I am in medical school, I am constantly referring back to foundational information learned in LHN's science courses and realizing how LHN set me up for academic success."

"To me one of the best parts of LHN was having staff that truly cares for students. I felt I could always talk to them about anything, and they always put Christ center in everything and pushed me to do my best. I also made great friendships with people in my class or older. We cared for each other and are still close!"

"Thanks to my education at LHN I felt completely equipped to handle college-level coursework, especially since LHN offered college prep classes. Throughout my entire career I have utilized skills I learned in high school such as effective reading and writing skills, but more importantly valuable life lessons and how to treat others with respect no matter their culture, language, race, or background."

"The best thing about going to high school at LHN was the ability to learn more about the Christian faith and be provided with tools to defend it. These tools are invaluable once graduating and going to college or careers."

"I came to LHN because there were no other Catholic high schools in the area, and to this day, I am thankful there weren't any. LHN was a great choice."

"Its been nearly fifteen years, however to this day I am so thankful for the support of the amazing teachers I had a Lutheran High North. Additionally, I remain close to many friends from high school because in those short four years they became my family."

"The best thing about going to high school at LHN were the teachers who impacted my life in so many ways. They changed my life and helped mold me into the person I am today. In fact Mr. Brandt is the reason I am going to be an English teacher in just 2 short years."

"I can’t simply choose one thing that was the best about going to LHN, but if I had to choose it was relationships I built in my four years - with friends, teachers, and God. Every day was an opportunity to grow in and out of the classroom, surrounded by people that encouraged me to strive to be a leader in Christ. The teachers genuinely cared about each student as an individual and always took the time to ask how students were doing and help them if needed. Every group I joined (sport or club), I felt I was surrounded with students who cared about their faith and wanted to grow in it each day. Every experience I had at LHN shaped me to be who I am today and allowed me to have a new-found confidence in who I am: a unique child of God, full of potential, washed in the blood of Christ."

"My brother went there, so I didn't have a choice, but am glad I went there! It was a good choice for me because I was exposed to Jesus, had the opportunity to compete on great sports teams, and received an excellent education that allowed me to go to college with 32 credits due to Honors classes offering."

"The best thing about LHN was that it laid the foundation for who I am as an adult today. Lutheran High North has the most amazing teachers and staff who treat every single student with true Christian values such as respect, care and love."

"You are not a number. I transferred in from my public high school half way through my second year. Up there in the category of "best decision I have ever made.""
